Who says you can't take it with you?? I designed these pocket-sized Travel Altars for those times when you might want to take some of the elements along with you on hikes, camping trips, or just on a walk to a quiet, sacred place.
The Travel Altar folds up to the size of an index card, which should fit in most pockets.
When you open it up, there is a pocket for keeping tiny objects. The pocket can be personalized if you like, as this one was for someone with an affinity for the wolves. I will include a variety of items to get you started, but you can add any special tools you like. Some small ideas are sage, stones, shells, feathers, a tiny bowl for water, rock salt, a tiny bell, small candles, a small broom. . .the possibilities are endless, and the search for miniature altar items is really fun!
Once you get to your destination, all you have to do is open it up, remove your tools, and turn the altar over. The back side functions as an altar cloth, with embroideries of the elemental symbols as well as the Goddess or other center focal point.
