I am Demeter, proud, loving, and protective Mother Goddess of the Earth. I am the giver of fruitfulness and abundance, and agriculture was a gift I provided to those in need. When my precious daughter Persephone was stolen from me, my anger and grief were fierce; the loss caused me to make the Earth barren for a time until she returned to me. Turn to me when you wish to meditate on these cycles of life and death, and the blessings of possibility and hope they offer.
